Refunds and cancellations

What happens to your money if you change your mind, or if we change the dates.

Cancelling an enrolment

Awaiting sign-off

The refund window, whether a partially-completed course is refundable, and any administrative fee are commercial decisions still to be set by CIPPO. They are not stated here because a plausible-sounding placeholder would be quoted back as policy by the first learner who asks for one.

Until those are settled, a refund request is handled individually. Ask through the contact form with your order reference and the course name.

Free courses

A free course has nothing to refund. Leaving one has no cost and no record beyond your own progress being kept, so you can return to it later.

If we cancel or move a session

Where a live or face-to-face session is cancelled and no alternative date works for you, the part of your enrolment covering that session is refunded. This is not discretionary: you paid for a session that did not happen.

Where a session moves, you will be offered the new date or the refund above. We do not treat a moved date as attendance.

Refunds and certificates

A refund after a certificate has been issued withdraws the certificate, because the assessment it attests to was paid for and then unwound. The withdrawal is recorded as a revocation and is visible to anyone checking the number — it is not deleted, since other people may already have verified it.

How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the card or account the payment came from, through the same payment provider. We cannot pay a refund to a different card, and the time it takes to appear is the provider's and your bank's, not ours.

Awaiting sign-off

The expected processing time and whether the provider's transaction fee is retained still need confirming against the payment integration before this page can state them.
